This is not just a restaurant, it is AN EXPERIENCE. You enter through the pawn shop into a stunning bar, lounge and dining room. Did I say stunning? Gorgeous, just beautiful - makes me want to redecorate my house. The staff are amazing and our server Jeffrey was next level. But the food, Oh, My, God, THE FOOD. The kitchen is extremely accommodating so if you have special needs or only eat plant-based they got you. We got the grilled cheese in tomato soup dumplings and I could have eaten them all day. The tofu was perfectly balanced. The onion rings were light and crispy. The truffle mac and cheese was to die for. Chef Chris Santos is a genius! The drinks were next level also. I had the Rose Gold, which was what an Aperol Spritz was meant to be. My only regret is that I was enjoying myself so much I forgot to take photos. Ok two regrets, I regret I could not eat more. Next time, because there will definitely be a next time. Side note: This restaurant also has locations in NYC and CT.Â

Don't think of this as a vegan restaurant, or even "the vegan restaurant I can bring my meat eating friends to", this is a fantastic restaurant that happens to be vegan. I think sometimes people think of vegan food as granola and salads for hippies to eat. I took a photo of some "tough guys" at the bar because this is amazing food, period. Also, Jerad Fresques is not a bartender, he is a Wizard. I had the Blackberry Fields cocktail, and it was perfection in a glass. Not too sweet, or sour, or too fruity or too floral, just the most perfectly balanced cocktail ever made, and as pretty to look at as it was delicious. Back to the food. We ordered A LOT. We knew we were driving home the next day and so got extra to take with us. Among other things, we got the: Caviar and chips, Broccoli Arancini, Lion's Mane Short Rib Tart, Stuffed Zucchini Blossoms, Calamari Fritti, Lasagna, Gnocchi, Eggplant Filet, and Grilled Lion's Mane Steak. Everything was excellent. I cannot recommend this place enough. The staff was exceptional, and the kitchen extremely accommodating. I can't wait to go back here and try the rest of the menu.
