We rarely use store-bought salad dressing anymore, and mostly rely on a high-quality balsamic, and this olive oil. It's delicious, and insanely good for you. Do NOT cook with this, you will ruin it! - Lisa
Indispensable ingredient when making many soups or sauces. Once you try adding this you will never want to be without it again. Adds a magical depth of flavor to savory dishes. I literally buy it by the six pack and add it to everything that I can. - Lisa
This is our go to finishing or table salt. It does not taste fishy, but rather the seaweed gives it an extra dimension of umami. This is so good it's one of the things I feel I can't live without in my kitchen. - Lisa
I love this pasta sauce. Don't get me wrong, I know how to make a fine sauce from scratch (gravy), but why? This is tomato sauce perfection, especially for pizza. Not too watery or too thick, just perfect every time. I don't need to reinvent the wheel, and neither do you. No weird ingredients, just perfection. - Lisa
An excellent source of protein and nutrients that also tastes delicious. I put these on salads, stir-frys and anything else I can think of. Also great for snacking. - Lisa
To be clear, this product has actual wheat in it. Also, I am not celiac, I am gluten sensitive, so make your own determination what is right for you, but speaking for myself, I do not have any reaction to this product. That being said, I don't know what kind of magic takes the gluten out and then leaves you with perfection, but this flour is a game changer for gluten-free baking, especially pizza dough and tortillas. It makes real dough, not that gooey stuff that most GF flours create. - Lisa
I'm a fan of many of the Pamela's family of GF products, but especially the bread mix. This is my go to make bread or rolls, which I also use to make stuffing and croutons from. - Lisa
Ok so I admit it, I'm addicted to potatoes, especially mashed potatoes. Here's the trick, just mix these with your choice of milk and butter (I use vegan), some salt, heat them up on the stove top or in the microwave and voila! Perfect mashed potatoes, and ready in less than 5 minutes. Just make them kind of soupy-ish and heat them until they are the right consistency. Piece of cake. Sometimes I will add chopped chives or parsley, or other fun ingredients. I have blind taste tested my entire family with these against a multitude of famous recipes using whole potatoes and these have won every time, unanimously! I will actually buy these by the 4-pack. Super handy to have around, only ONE ingredient: POTATOES. - Lisa
This is my favorite corn bread mix by far. Does really well with egg replacer and vegan milk/butter when you mix it up. My favorite is to mix as directed (vegan style) then in a cast iron pan, put a layer of your favorite chili on the bottom, and then use a small ice cream scoop to top it with the corn bread mixture. Bake until the topping is done. Comes out perfect every time and people always ask for the recipe. Can work cheese into this recipe if you like very easily- Lisa
This is my favorite GF pasta brand by a mile. It's organic, has protein and a little bit of fiber, and cooks up perfectly every time. Comes in lots of shapes and styles. I recommend them all. - Lisa
If you want to know exactly where your coffee is coming from, who grew it, and how it was processed then this is the coffee supplier for you. Conveniently, their coffee is amazing, and I cannot recommend it enough. - Lisa
We use this in our coffee every morning instead of sugar or sugar substitute. It's sweet (not as much as sugar) but unlike sugar it's actually really good for you. We buy this one in bulk and keep it in a sugar bowl by the coffee. - Lisa
We are big fans of all of the Laird Superfood products, including these protein bars. Very handy and really well thought out ingredients. - Lisa
Warning: NOT gluten-free! However I have included it here because if you can eat gluten, then this is an excellent source of protein. - Lisa
More flavors of this excellent plant-based source of protein. Dene and I are big fans. - Lisa
My go to cashew choice, which I use for cooking and as the base for my vegan GF lasagna. Hard to find organic cashews in my local grocery store. - Lisa
Sometimes I can't find organic walnuts in my local grocery stores. These are excellent. - Lisa
Very handy vegan beef broth base. I know it has natural flavorings in it which I usually try to avoid but sometimes you need this. Excellent for making onion dip, or french onion soup, among other things. - Lisa
Excellent for snacking, adding to salads or stir-fry. We like these so much we have them on auto-delivery. - Lisa
We keep these on hand for snacking. They are supposed to be very healthy and some recommend eating 3 to 5 nuts a day. These are perfect for that. - Lisa
This is a great way to get plant-based protein without a lot of fat. I like to add warm water to it, and a bit of honey, and then dip GF pretzels or apple slices or celery into it. On the apples I will also sprinkle some salt- Lisa
We rarely use "salad dressing" anymore. This perfect balsamic is our go to for salads and pretty much any else you would put balsamic on. I can't live without this. - Lisa
I really love these chips and can't find them in my local grocery stores. They remind me of a chip that I grew up on, but these are cooked in avocado oil and use sea salt, so much better for you. - Lisa
Best little sweet snack ever! We always have these on hand for a quick healthy sweet snack. Also perfect to throw in the blender with your favorite milk product and some ice or ice cream and make a date shake smoothie. - Lisa
This is a great way to make tofu if you are vegan. Just break up some firm tofu into scrambled egg sized chunks (I do NOT press it first) and shake some of this liberally all over. Pan fry briefly and it really is an excellent substitute for scrambled eggs. - Lisa
Yes, you can get GF gochujang. Sometimes you just need this exact level of heat in this exact flavor profile to make a dish perfect. - Lisa
Wild blueberries have been an important part of my health journey. This powder is a great way to have some on hand, which I generally add to smoothies and sometimes baking. - Lisa
Sometimes I can't find organic tahini locally, and this one is very good. - Lisa
This is an excellent choice if you are trying to keep things organic AND it comes in a glass jar. For a long time in my health journey I avoided canned food, especially anything acidic. This is a very good choice. - Lisa
When I was hard-core on my health journey this was my go to for vanilla. Worked brilliantly in all recipes. - Lisa
This is my preferred egg replacer. I have used it successfully in baking, but also include it when I make faux fried chicken, as part of the wet mix (glue) before I dip in bread crumbs. - Lisa
This is Dene's go to for lunch or if he is in a hurry. It's hard to beat this as a meal replacement for the protein/nutrients without too many calories/carbs. Not too sweet, not chalky. The vanilla is perfect as a base if you want to add fresh/frozen fruit or blueberry powder for a smoothie. - Lisa
This is my preferred cheeze cracker. - Lisa
Ok not exactly a health food, but these are so perfect for entertaining, I actually do buy the 2-pound tin. I wish they were organic but their delicious perfection makes up for that. Good source of protein for plant-based persons. - Lisa
This is my go to for "milk". Better nutritional profile than most nut milks or real dairy. Color is white like dairy unlike some of the nut milks. Does not add any strong flavors of nut or "other". By far my favorite of the plant milks. - Lisa
This is my go to vegan butter. Be careful, it melts fast! - Lisa
Nutritionally not a lot going on here. But sometimes you just want a boiled egg, and you want to stay vegan. This does a good job of satisfying that craving. - Lisa
This is my go to for cooking and frying. - Lisa
Excellent for vegans or dairy free persons. - Lisa
